Finding Happiness in the future
|Soon will be Christmas and New Year. To keep ourselves away from depression during this period, we should find something to fill our time with.
All the people in the world know that if you go on a holiday somewhere fun it will make you happy for sure! But not all of us can afford to travel abroad every month; therefore finding local places that are interesting is an idea for anyone who wants to stay cheerful at any time.
This article is written for those people who want to visit interesting places around the city they live in, but don’t know where exactly they should go. Thus I decided to write an article about how I found happiness today near my hometown; Odesa, Ukraine!
To tell you the truth I went on a trip to Odessa Zoo. It’s not that big and impressive, but it is worth visiting.
Zoo: you can meet the most interesting creatures in the world there!
This article aims at showing people who don’t think of visiting Odessa Zoo what is so good about this place. So let the journey begins!
Happiness #1: Giraffes
Giraffe Springs – one of my favorite places in Odessa Zoo. This place looks like African savanna because it has a lot of palm trees and flowers that will remind you of a desert or jungle for sure. You can find giraffes here that look really pretty from up close! And they are very calm which makes them even cuter.
Happiness #2: Penguins
Penguins are very well-known animals but it is very interesting to see them in real life, moving, swimming, and jumping around. Their eyesight is so sharp that they can look at you from a far distance, which makes them even more interesting to watch! Penguins are also extremely peaceful. We have heard that penguins are one of the only two animals that stay calm in very frightening situations because their heartbeats really slowly. So if you start feeling stressed out just visit Odessa Zoo – there you will find many cute penguins living peacefully in their houses to make your day better!
Happiness #3: Ostriches
Ostriches always make me feel happy when I meet them because I know that they are the only animals in the world that can jump really high. It is hard to explain why it makes me so happy but all I want to say is that you should definitely come to Odessa Zoo and see ostriches with your own eyes!
Happiness #4: Penguins’ House
Penguin’s house is a very special place where you will see penguins living their daily lives. You also have an opportunity to feed them by throwing some food from the boat. Ducks swimming around will make this experience even more pleasant for sure!
So these were my favorite parts of Odessa zoo and what made me feel happier today. If you go on a trip there soon enough, I am 100% sure that you will also enjoy yourself and feel very cheerful.
Here are some FAQs recently asked by my readers:
Q1. Is it better to go with friends or alone?
A1. It is so much better to go with friends! But if you are unable to find somebody, then it is also not bad to be there by yourself – there are many places where you can take pictures and look around. The one thing that makes zoo trip more fun is of course if you visit together.
Q2. Which part of the zoo do I need to see first? Which place would make me feel excited?
A2. Definitely Giraffes Springs! After watching them for a minute your day will be made much better already, trust me 😉 And don’t forget about Penguin House; the craziest creatures in the world live there!
Also, I would highly recommend going to a zoo with a camera. The views are just too amazing not to take pictures! My favorite picture from the Zoo was this one:
Q3. What’s better zoo or refuge?
A3. I have never been before but if you ask me about my preferences I would say refuge because it will make you feel more energetic and active rather than watching animals that sleep most of their lives 😉 Still, don’t forget that Zoo has many nice places where you can enjoy yourself! Have fun on your trip!!!
Q4. Is it better to go in a winter or summer? Which time is more suitable for a trip?
A4. This depends on what kind of weather do you like more, but I would definitely say it is better to visit in summer. The main reason why zoos can be boring sometimes is that there are not many flowers and green plants around – everything looks so grey, especially in wintertime.
So if you want to feel good about visiting the Zoo go in the summer!
Conclusion:
These were some of the most exciting and important details that I learned about Odessa Zoo. It is such a nice place to visit with your family and friends, where you can go swimming on hot days or run around if it’s wintertime. Don’t forget to take pictures and post them, so we can all enjoy it!
